Strategic Communications and Planning

Creating and implementing strategic plans is something that I've been doing much of my career. I have been told that I'm good at organizing complex projects, and I enjoy making good things happen.  Here is a current project that I'm helping to develop.

Comprehensive Climate Change Plan

For the last fifteen years, my focus has been on creating sustainable strategic plans for business and cities. I'm currently pulling together a comprehensive renewable energy plan for the Sustainable Aurora Board for the City of Aurora, Illinois.

We're in the beginning stages of developing funding and a long-term program to lower greenhouse gas emissions while creating economic opportunities for citizens and businesses.

In 2016, also led the development of an update to the city's overall sustainability plan using a model called the greenest region compact from the Metropolitan Mayor's Caucus.

Creating viable strategic plans for governments and business and seeing them implemented is something I love to do.

I am delighted to see our Sustainable Aurora projects expanding and creating new possibilities for Aurora.  I have served on the board for fives years and am excited to see momentum developing  with our work.

There is so much good that is happening everywhere if we look for it.
