That's why I created the Restorers Corner program.  In my sustainability work, I have seen so many different ideas on how to live green, with most of the focus on preventing disaster or apocalypse.  There's not as much as focus on what we need to do to live green to prosper.  While there is no cookie cutter approach to this, there are ways of going green that more wealth, more ease in your day, and more joy.

 

My Restorers Corner program might be for you if:

 

  • You like the ideas that I share on how to live more restoratively

  • You would like to meditate with someone else, without having to join a religious order

  • You need to make some big changes to prepare for retirement and old age

  • You're want to create or expand your meditation practice

  • You know that you need to add restorative pauses in your day, and could use some help to get started

  • Feel like my ideas and program are a good fit with what you're seeking

Included with the Restorers Corner, is The Slow Down to Restore training, which I offer in the winter and summer seasons to help you increase your financial stability through sustainable living and increasing the ease in your life.

While I create programs around seasonal change, you can join this program at any time.

MEDITATE

You may know that meditation is good for your brain, your heart and your overall well-being.

Did you know that different types of meditation help you in different ways.

In each season of the Slow Down to Restore program, I teach you how to practice 5 essential kinds of meditation:

  1. Shamata

  2. Body Scans

  3. Loving Kindness

  4. External Meditations

  5. Gratitude

I teach these meditations because they work very well with increasing your connection to green prosperity.  I also work with composer Joe Malambri to create restorative music. You receive access to the member area where we have many different guided meditations for different aspects of restorative living.

 

You can listen to some sample guided meditations and his music.

These are the requirements for using the Slow Down to Restore training:

 

  • Ability to use Zoom software for our weekly calls

  • A relatively quiet place to participate since we meditate every week

  • An open mind about meditation, restorative living and how fast change occurs

  • One hour each week to attend the session

You do not need a meditation cushion for our sessions, but you can use one.  We practice meditation at the beginning of each session, with the assumption you're in a seated position using a chair.

I don't recommend meditation for those with post traumatic stress disorder, or other psychological conditions which could be harmed by meditation.  Meditation can be too intense for some people. Trust yourself on whether that part of our weekly session would be helpful to you or not.

What Do You Need to Get Started?

This monthly program helps you live green to prosper and includes:

Each session gives you an opportunity to restore your health with meditation, increase your ability to focus and stay connected with your values through our exercises and accountability.  This community helps you keep going in a world that doesn't always value restorative living or restorative practices..

Each month, you will receive practices, checklist and audios that you can download and use for the rest of your life.

Restorers Corner

 

Meditation is a way to know the love that creates the universe is always available. This is the practice of meditation -- returning to the eternal every day to watch all that changes in your life, and notice what remains constant.

And yet, we also need to present in this world and be a witness to the beauty, the tragedies and miracles of life on earth.  

When we slow down to restore our deep connection to all that is, we find an eternal kindness that never leaves us.
